Shoud it be necessary to return your binoculars to Leupold, closely follow these guidelines:

• Include a note with your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and a description of the problem.
• Pack the binocular in its original box (if you still have it) or another suitably strong shipping box.
• Wrap the package securely using filament strapping tape on the outside of the package.
• Ship the binocular by parcel or mail service (insured) to one of the following addresses:

Leupold non-electronic products are warranted for as long as you own them.  We warrant them to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, and to function satisfactorily under normal use conditions.  Leupold binoculars and spotting scopes are waterproof; however, all quality optics, if submerged, should always be retrieved as quickly as possible.  If at any time a Leupold product is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship, Leupold will, at our discretion, repair or replace it free of charge, when requested by the original owner.  The warranty is void if damage results from unauthorized repair, alteration, or misuse.  It is given solely to the original owner and is not transferable.  To activate the warranty, register the product on-line at www.leupold.com, or complete the enclosed warranty card and mail as addressed.  This is considered a Leupold Limited Lifetime Warranty, and should not be confused with the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee, which covers Leupold Golden Ring products.

Pentax products have a limited One-Year Warranty starting from the date of purchase.  This limited warranty covers any defects in original factory materials and workmanship.  If your Pentax product malfunctions due to such a defect within this one-year period, Pentax Imaging Company will repair it at no charge within a reasonable amount of time.  This warranty does not cover any damage caused to the product, including, but not limited to:  impact, moisture, liquid, sand, excessive temperature, battery leakage, chemical corrosion, mishandling, operation contrary to operating instructions, tampering, modification, or servicing by an unauthorized repair shop.  Pentax shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, such as memory cards, batteries, travel expenses, loss of time, etc.

Pentax Sport Optics Worry-Free Warranty.

This warranty is available on all Pentax Sport Optics products purchased in the United states, on or after March 1, 2006, from an authorized Pentax Sport Optics dealer.  If your Pentax binocular requires repair, Pentax will repair or replace it to the original purchaser, even if damaged by fault, for a charge of $19.95, to cover handling and return shipping.  This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, theft or loss.

Sightron, Inc. Products Lifetime Limited Warranty.  Sightron, Inc. will repair this product or replace the product, at Sightron's sole option, free of charge (except for a $7.50 handling charge).  This warranty only covers failure due to defects in materials or workmanship which occur during normal and regular use.  It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or failures which are not supplied by Sightron, Inc., or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification or service by anyone other than a Sightron, Inc. factory or authorized service center or damage that is attributable to acts of God.

There are no express warranties except as listed above.
